  1. Three complete sets of Construction Drawings of proposed building.<\/li>
  2. Complete Application form provided at the Building Unit.<\/li>
  3. All taxes must be paid in full before drawings can be approved.<\/em><\/li>
  4. Pay Application and Permit fee as per S.I No. 96 of 2011 click\u00a0<\/span>here<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/li>
  5. Payment of a Buffer fee of $200.00. This is not a fee associated by the Building Unit, but payment necessary for the usage of buffer spaces during construction and construction debris removal, green spaces maintenance amongst others.<\/li>
  6. Buffer fee is NOT<\/u>\u00a0<\/b>refundable.<\/em><\/li>
  7. Drawing are sent to the Building Unit for approval, the entire process as per regulations shall take a maximum of 14 working day. The Unit shall contact the application prior the establish time in case of any clarifications.<\/li>
  8. Drawings that have obtained the No Objection to Proposed Development must leave a set of construction drawing with the Building Unit.<\/li>
  9. A complete set of\u00a0<\/span>Approved Drawings and Building Permit\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>must always be on site for inspection by the Building Unit. Failure to comply can result in a Stop Order and a fine of $150.00 per visit.<\/li>
  10. \u00a0Permission must be given by the Engineering Section for construction material to be stored on streets and building of any infrastructure outside of client’s property.<\/li>
  11. \u00a0Waste Water Disposal Plan should include details of septic tank, soak away, or connection to sewer system.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    • The building shouldn\u2019t occupy more than 60% of surface area of property, unless approved otherwise.<\/p><\/li>

    • Any construction should be at least 4 feet away from the boundary of property.<\/p><\/li>

    • All construction should have an approved plan by the council.<\/p><\/li>

    • In event that you\u2019re constructing a fence and it shouldn\u2019t be above 6 feet high, unless approved otherwise.<\/p><\/li>

    • All driveways over open drains should have an approved plan.<\/p><\/li>
