The Belmopan City Council celebrates the beginning of the 2023 September Celebrations with our Annual Flag Raising Ceremony. In attendance were Her Worship Madam Mayor Sharon Palacio, Councilor Hope Amadi, and Councillor Pauline Soberanis Tillet, symbolizing unity, resilience, and determination as Belize marks 42 years of independence this month.

We take this opportunity to thank Belize Natural Energy (BNE) for collaborating with us once more, the Volunteer Battalion of the support company of the Belize Defence Force and the 37 Cayo Belmopan Phoenix Scout Group.
