ouncilor Pauline Soberanis Tillet organized an impactful Mental Health Forum specifically designed for first-form students of Belmopan Comprehensive School. Recognizing the importance of addressing mental well-being at an early age, the forum aimed to raise awareness, educate, and provide support to these young individuals.

Mrs. Christa Courtney, Professional Counsellor, and Supt. Martha Rhys, Commanding Officer for the Belmopan Police Formation, served as the primary speakers, and Mayor Sharon Palacio was in attendance. The students were captivated by the mesmerizing performances of 20-year-old Jonathan Chiquin who is a magician, while 19-year-old Huston Alvarez, also known as Hubee, delivered valuable advice to the students and sang one of his popular songs titled “Life”.

By organizing this Mental Health Forum, Councilor Pauline Soberanis Tillet has taken a commendable step towards breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and fostering a supportive environment for the youth of Belmopan.
